About our non-profit organization
Every individual is unique, each with their own talents, abilities, and limitations. Sometimes the limitations of our care guests can be prominent. We offer them the opportunity to further develop and grow, with extra attention and care for their capabilities. What we find extremely important is to look at each care guest individually. Who is this person and what can they handle? How can we and our team best meet their needs? Whether you're in a wheelchair, blind, not feeling well, very introverted or sensitive, hyperactive, or seriously ill: an animal never judges.
Contact with an animal is primarily intuitive. Children who struggle to build normal social relationships with those around them often succeed in "communicating" with an animal. In this way, they learn to gain more insight into their social environment. They begin to take initiative and try to engage in dialogue. They carry the positive experiences and self-confidence into their daily lives. Since 2015, alongside our animals and a warm, dedicated team of volunteers, we have been ready to help our target group grow and further develop.
